Selena Gomez Admits Managing Depression Is A Daily Struggle

While Selena Gomez may be back in the spotlight, she recently opened up saying that depression is a daily struggle.
Selena Gomez gets candid talking about how she deals with depression.
Selena is back in our lives, looking and feeling better than ever as she’s got a million projects in the works as well as a new man, but at the premiere of her newest Netflix project “13 reasons why’ which she executive produced BTW – She opened up to EXTRA on the carpet about her battles with depression and anxiety saying it’s a daily struggle and even talked about who helps her through it.
Selena credits making everything work thanks to balance… She said “Balance is the key. Patience. Being kind to yourself. Having grace. I think that’s important.”
Selena’s mom also graced the event and when asked why her daughter looked so radiant on the carpet she said QUOTE: “I think it was actually [from] taking a break. You asked what it is [like] to feel like you’re in this world, we’re in a bubble. It’s not a real world. You don’t really realize it until you go out of this bubble and you’re like, ‘Oh, OK.’”
I think this is why so many people relate to Selena Gomez, she’s a real person behind all that fame and she’s not afraid to show it.   3. I love the video, and I love that topics like these get people to talk about mental illness in a mature way. The headline threw me off, but it’s a good news story.
